Mission Statement

Guided by the values of justice, freedom, and literacy, The Banned Book Boxes Project seeks to increase equitable access to banned books in Texas by distributing them via free, community-supported book-sharing boxes near public high schools, thereby empowering students to engage with diverse literature. 

Knowledge is power. Because everyone deserves to read without restrictions.
